IEICS Geoportal – Mozambique’s Phytosanitary Licensing System We developed and deployed a secure web-based platform for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADER) to streamline the issuance of phytosanitary licenses and certificates. The system integrates features such as inspection checklists, Vodacom MPESA payment processing for application fees, document uploads, and status tracking—all within a user-access controlled environment Modules support diverse user roles—exporters, agents, importers—and include workflows for inspection scheduling, site and shipment data capture, and administrative approvals. The interface simplifies complex regulatory processes while maintaining data integrity and operational transparency. Designed to boost service efficiency, reduce paper-based bottlenecks, and enhance stakeholder satisfaction, this Geoportal represents a leap in digital transformation for agricultural trade facilitation in Mozambique.
